    Along with Smooth, this song was part of my playlist whilst on my promotional tour. It comes from the album: RECORD ON THE BLAG which was my first ever attempt at an album. Work began on the album in 2003.I like this song because it’s very summery and has a bit of a “hi ho silver” thing going on in the chorus.

    In July 2007 I released this EP called SXY - it was a challenge from a fan - asking whether I could put together a summery, sexy album in just 6 weeks. Well I do like to step up to these challenges and from it came SXY. In Flagrante is one of my favourite songs from the disk, because it’s just plain rude and naughty!

    In 2006 I started writing a project called: The Butterfly Observations. It was too be a kind of torch song album, with raw personal lyrics. At the time I was coming to terms with a lot of things in my life and trying to make sense of relationships, friendships and my rite of passage. You Make Me Invalid, stemmed from an argument I had... Perhaps a little dramatic, but that’s me! I’ve got plans to record this song in French - just for that extra drama! LOL

    This song was from RECORD ON THE BLAG also. It’s been described as a bit of a runaway train ( well I think it’s a pretty cool description) I’ve only ever performed this song once in public and it involved 4 dancers in a big bag... Very interesting and sweaty...This song when I was really into retro 80’s things... oooo shiny and totally butterfly!

    I was invited to join James Max one very early morning to talk about my EP SXY - and he asked whether I’d sing from the EP at the end of the show. This is the live recording for the show. talkSPORT is one of the UK’s most listened to radio stations. So it was a complete privilege to be asked to come along...I don’t think you can tell from the recording... but I was bricking it!

    This another song that comes from the sultry, smooth, sexy EP SXY... I like S words - can you tell?This is from the single version of WANNA - which peaked at #1 in the indie charts. I like this version of the song - it’s a little more tender and doesn’t have any rude words in it!
     
  • Fireflies (live In My Living Room)

    In January 2007 I released this EP for a small tour I embarked upon. The EP peaked at #3 in the indiestore and stayed in the top 20 for around 20 weeks. The performances where taken from various live gigs and concerts around the UK - to the 5000 strong crowd at Manchester Pride to the privacy of my very own living room.Fireflies is, I think, one of my own defining songs. I like this version because it’s simple and cut back with just me and a piano.
     
  • Elusive You (acoustic Mix)

    This remix of my first ‘official’ single was on disk 1 of a 2 disk format for Elusive You. I think that many people associate this version as being the ‘proper’ version - in the end I think around 5 versions of this song are currently on sale. This, though is my favorite.

    This was the first track I released as a single. It’s very early 2000’s - I promoted this song quite heavily in 2004 and did a brief roadshow tour with radio stations: OAK FM and Chiltern FM. I supported Jamiela & Phixx - I also danced like a muppet and mimed even worse!

    This song is one I find very hard to sing live. It’s perhaps a little too personal for me. I get all flustered when I sing it. People however have said that it’s one of my best. So it’s made on this podcast album!
